In this long-standing OTS graduate course, students immerse themselves in six weeks of fast-paced collaborative group learning in ecological field methods, writing skills, science communication through video and radio, ecological statistics, and beyond! As we travel through a wide range of ecosystems such as dry forest, cloud forest, pacific coastal forest, and high-altitude paramo, students will acquire the necessary skills to develop into well-rounded ecologists, all while being guided and surrounded by some of the world experts in the field!

As a formal part of the course training and objectives, students are trained in various forms of communication to the public.
